What is a Stretch Tent?

A stretch tent is a flexible, fully waterproof fabric structure used for events, weddings, and commercial spaces across the UK. Designed using tensioned fabric and poles of various heights, each tent can be shaped to suit your exact layout, location, and guest experience.

Unlike traditional marquees, stretch tents offer a more versatile and visually striking solution for outdoor events. They can:

• Fit uneven, sloped, or awkward spaces with ease
• Be configured into multiple layouts, shapes, and heights
• Create a modern, open-sided look that enhances any event setting

This makes stretch tent hire an ideal choice for weddings, corporate events, festivals, and hospitality venues looking for a practical, weatherproof solution with a more premium finish.

If you’re looking for stretch tent hire in the UK, The Stretch Tent Company Ltd offer the perfect balance of flexibility, durability, and standout design.

Joanna and the team were great! We had a turbulent start (through no fault of theirs) after their truck breakdown on route to deliver and set up, but Joanna kept me updated the entire time and when the team arrived, they got straight to it with no trouble. Would use again!

A huge thank you to Joanna and her delightful team who has made my daughter's wedding celebration a fabulous success. From the first enquiry through to the dismantling of the stretch tent, the process has been seamless and professional. Joanna has helped with the hiring of various different styled tables and what sized tablecloths we would need. The guys putting up the tent were helpful and polite - a joy to have around! If you are thinking of using the Stretch Tent Company - go for it - you will not be disappointed!

If you're in need of a stretch tent, there's no better place to go than here. The best customer service from Jo in the planning stages and the boys are brilliant on site. Always a pleasure to deal with, nothing too much trouble, last minute requests always accommodated and excellent quality, premium tents. What more could you ask for. Highly recommend.

We worked with the Stretch Tent Company for a summer event in June 2026 and they were fantastic. In advance of the event they were patient and very knowledgable as we went back and forth on what type of tent we wanted, settling on a 9x9m stretch tent.

The installation team were fantastic, quick, professional and incredibly friendly.

I must say, the tent itself was transformative. This isn't a cheap investment in your event but they are beautiful focal points (as well as providing us some much needed shade!) both during the day and in to the night.

Highly recommend.

Couldn't be more happy to have had The Stretch Tent Company help us out with our summer party. Jo was always at hand with great advice and reassurance especially when the weather looked shocking. Even with some last minute tweaks to shift the dance floor and request for furniture , it was never a problem for the team. The setting up team were punctual , efficient and also gave great advice . Would happily use them again .

I was recommended the Stretch Tent Co.by my caterer. I feel so blessed to have found them.
We have a really awkward not huge piece of lawn and I was really concerned we wouldn’t have been able to do what we wanted with a regular marquee.
From my first contact with Joanna I knew I was in safe hands. We discussed shapes and sizes of tents in huge detail. Sam came out and did a survey and we worked out a plan.
Joanna helped me with all sorts of details and made contact with the furniture hire company i eventually used.
Nothing was too much for Joanna, and I so appreciate all that she did to reassure me and guide me through the whole journey
On the day Sam and his team arrived promptly and put up the tents neatly and without any fuss. They even came back later on that evening when we noticed a couple of things needed tweaking -so kind.
De rigging on the Monday was equally as hassle free and I really appreciated this.
All in all it was a huge pleasure to work with the team and the stretch tent was perfect for our oddly shaped garden.
I would t hesitate to use the Stretch Tent Co.again or recommend them to anyone
Thanks so much. Lisa
